Julio García Mera

Two-time world champion and three-time European champion with the Spanish futsal national team, capped 115 times. A defining figure at Movistar Inter for fifteen seasons, he experienced from the inside what it means to build an entire identity around sport — and what it means to lose it. He holds a degree in Journalism and a master's in Sports Organisations, and has served as both sporting director and general manager of his club. For more than a decade he has been a partner at Lidersport, a company working to make sport more accessible and respected in rural communities. He continues to tell stories about sport and business.
