Piscaria
Durii Editorial · Histórica · Narrativa · Adultos (+18 años)
Synopsis
In a small village on the banks of the Ebro, Pesquera de Ebro, power shifts uneasily between Crown, Nobility and Church while famine gathers at the edges. This is the world of Piscaria: a story of love, war and the hunger for revenge, and above all a story of women. Women born with the gift of intelligence who struggle against a society that sidelines them, labelling them mad or witch, threatening them with dark dungeons or the stake. Piscaria reminds us that reality can be more astonishing and more brutal than anything invented. The past it conjures carries emotions that have never belonged to any particular century.

Born in the heart of an industrial town, he belongs to the baby boomer generation. Trained in Mathematical Economics, his life has taken him from bricklayer to insurance broker. It was only when he picked up a pen that he found what he was looking for. His published novels include «Los hijos de Gaia: El niño que perdió su sombra» and «Beba». «Piscaria» opens «La leyenda de los lobos», an intriguing trilogy.
