Author
Juan Loste
León · 1967
He holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration and was awarded one of ICEX España's Business Internationalisation Grants. He spent over a decade at Banco Santander, working as a specialist in New York, Frankfurt and Madrid, and is fluent in three languages. He left banking to set up on his own, contributing to the development of Spanish brands including Uno de 50, El Ganso and Ulises Mérida. In 2013 he founded SiluroConcept, a multidisciplinary space in Madrid's Barrio de Las Letras. The premises bring together an art gallery, a haute couture atelier and a co-working area. A writer who came to fiction later in life, his narrative style is plain and direct, shot through with irony and the rhythms of everyday speech. «Confinados en Gower» and «Isabelle» are his first two novels; «Menina a pesar», published by Durii, is his most recent work.
