The Sweet Pain

I flew from La Mancha to the Balearic Islands. It was on the way back that the poet emerged. My verses lose themselves on the road, between airports and suitcases.

I grew up among vineyards with the world as my open border.

The Sweet Pain is the name of the shield behind which I take cover. At some point in life, we all come to appreciate that lingering sweetness that pain leaves in our essence.

This book you hold in your hands is part of my story, and I have come to tell it.
